As is well documented in this post, my first attempt wasn´t a complete flop, but it was impossible to eat, so, yeah it was a disaster. I had been focused on a very special post I had to complete for yesterday, so, it´s fair to say something was probably not measured correctly. But, this being such an easy recipe, and having the nagging feeling that Granny (my very irish maternal great-grandmother who made the most time consuming plum pudding ever) was watching me, I gave it another try and this beautiful bread is the result. A lesson in simple things sometimes being the harder ones to tackle because they appear to be so simple. The taste was great. This time I made a thicker sour milk and added ¼ of whole wheat pastry flour. I´m happy. Thanks for your encouragement.

Glad to hear the second one turned out for you! Isn't that the way sometimes - the simplest can turn out not as expected. It's happened to me a few times!
